UPDATE ON STRUTTER KICK-START

UPDATE ON STRUTTER NEW LINE TRYOUTS

• There is an information meeting on March 25th at 6pm in the LGI. Parent and dancer are required to attend.

Booster Club Update

It's hard to believe that our girls have completed their first football season as the College Station Strutters.  What a success it was!  What follows are just a couple of updates:

BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
Our next Booster Club meeting is next Tuesday, November 13th at 6:30pm in the Principal's conference room at CSHS.

HOLIDAY COMMITMENTS
The BCS Christmas parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 2nd (just three weeks away!) and the Strutter Christmas party is that date as well.  We'll talk more about the details of these and the meeting on Tuesday.

STRUTTER UPDATE

All,

Didn’t those Bob’s do a GREAT job on Friday night!  What fun it was to watch and how special it is that our dancers have such terrific men in their lives!  It has truly been a great first season of football at CSHS and with the first group of Strutters.  I think we all agree that this group of ladies is setting the bar VERY high for others who follow.  Only a couple of more games and then on to dance competition season!  What follows are just a couple of updates:

THE WEEK AHEAD

·        Homecoming week is full of activities – check the CSHS website for each days’ events.

·        Wednesday night is Community Spirit Night 7pm at CSHS gym. (call time will be announced)

·        Friday afternoon is Pep Rally at 3pm.

·        Friday night’s game begins at 7pm. (call time will be announced)

·        Saturday dancers perform at Special Olympics; arrive 12:15pm. (not sure of location)

FOOTBALL PROGRAM SALES

·        Strutters sell programs this week on HOME side.

·        Blog indicates that Susan Neel and Joan Davis are signed up for this week – if you guys need help, just let us know!

LOCKER DECORATIONS

·        Blog indicates that Brandi is the lead for Homecoming locker decorations.  Her team consists of Stephanie H., Layla, and Jennifer.  Good luck!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE

·        We are close to having the sponsors on the website!

·        A committee is forming to begin planning the spring Strutters Camp.

·        Stephanie sent us all an email last week indicating we have been approved. 

·        BIG thanks for both Stephanie and Susan as they did most of the work around this!!

SOCIAL UPDATE

·        Christmas party is approaching (it will be here before we know it!) – December 2, 2012.

·        Plans are coming along for end-of-year banquet as well – May 4, 2013
