Strutters Spirit and Apparel

Hey Ladies!  The link to our Strutters spirit and apparel items through CC Creations is now available.  The link has instructions and Libby Fuller is our CC Creations contact if anyone has questions or needs assistance.  We are all responsible for ordering our own items and payment is due when you submit the order.  The link is open until August 6th so that should give everyone time to "shop."  Orders should come in around August 20th and I will pick them up and distribute.  Check out the link and happy shopping!

Monthly Booster Club Meeting


Strutters Booster Club,

This is a reminder of tomorrow’s monthly meeting at 5:30pm.  The location is at College Station High School – yeah!!!  We will be meeting in the front conference room at CSHS.  Frankly, I have no idea where that is located so I recommend that you walk in the front door and go to the principal’s office – it’s likely in there.  Anna will be there to make sure the conference room is open for all of us.  As a reminder, there will be shirt sizers at this meeting for new shirts that you might want to purchase.  This is the only meeting where Joan will have shirt sizers available.  See you tomorrow!

Strutters Booster Club Update.

Following is an update for this week:

FUNDRAISING
I am sure that everyone is working hard on their fundraising efforts.  The deadline for collecting all money raised is Friday, July 20th and in order for us to reach a goal of $10,000, every dancers needs to raise an average of $833 -- certainly an achievable goal!!  Tracy reports that we have already secured $2,500 in sponsorships -- 25% toward our goal.  Great job -- just keep working hard so we can reach a minimum goal of $10,000 in sponsorships!

When you secure a sponsor, text Tracy immediately -- she's tracking all of this closely.

When you secure a sponsor, please remember to have the company complete the sponsorship form with business name, address, etc.  We definitely need those forms in addition to the donation!  We are working on a tax exempt letter to get to the businesses that sponsor us -- they will need this in order to get the tax deducation for their donation.

NECESSITY LIST -- SIGN UP!!!
By Monday, July 16th, please sign up for a few items on the Necessity List.  This was something that Anna talked with us about during HOME camp week and that was posted on the blog soon thereafter.  We need everyone to contribute to collecting these items so that our dancers will be well prepared for any unexpected events/moments during football season!  Just go to the list that is posted on the blog and you can sign up there.  We'll discuss all remaining items, those that are not assigned to anyone yet, at the next Strutters Booster Club meeting.

JULY BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
We have a meeting scheduled on Tuesday, July 17th at 5:30pm.  We are working on the location as CSHS is not open to us yet.  I will let you know the location as soon as it is determined.  Joan has been working SO hard on some of the fun items for us to purchase for next year.  In addition to an update on all of these items, at this next meeting she'll have sizers available for shirts to purchase.  This is the only time we'll have sizers available to you at a meeting.  As you know, sizes run differently so if you miss this meeting, you'll have to go by CC Creations to try on the shirts before purchasing.  Attend this meeting and it will be easier for you!

AUGUST PRACTICE
Remember, the dancers will be practicing another week in August -- August 6-10 from 8am-4:30pm each day.  Additionally, they will practice on Monday, August 13th from 12:45pm-4:30pm.  If we are going to do anything for our dancers as a Booster Club that week (i.e., provide them lunch, send fun snacks or special treats, do things that encourage them as they begin football season, etc.), we need to be thinking about that and planning for that now.  We can discuss this at our meeting next week.
